This project provides professional development for 40 teachers geared to English Teacher Certification in Puerto Rico. The goal of the Project is to prepare professionals to perform more effectively as teachers of English at the elementary and secondary level in the public and private schools of Puerto Rico

The teacher participants will take up to a maximum of twenty four credits that will improve their linguistic and pedagogical skills using the most up to date educational technology. The number of courses depends on the academic background of each teacher and their specific needs.

This Project is free of cost for teacher participants and it includes: tuition, fees, and materials. It also includes registration fees for the PRTESOL Convention.
